Goudelock History We were very fortunate to be born free in the United States of America. Many of our earlier family members did not have this blessed opportunity. The Goudelock family has a very colorful past dating back from the earliest record of Andrew Godylock. Andrew was an immigrant from Scottland and landed in America in the early 1700's. Andrews family grew and spread to the southern states. Traces of the Goudelock family are the strongest in the South Carolina area. From part of the South Carolina Goudelock's, we find our more direct descendants, who were slaves when the Goudelock family moved to the Gainesville, GA area. Gainesville, GA is where we make up our branches in the Goudelock Family Tree. |
